All Purpose Cleaner Recipe

1 tsp. washing soda (make sure its washing soda... these packages can be tricky)
2 tsp. Borax
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/2 tsp. dish soap
2 cups hot water
empty spray bottle

Combine all ingredients in the empty spray bottle.
Shake gently to mix
You are good to go!!!

Glass & Window Cleaner

1/4 cup white vinegar
1/4 cup rubbing alcohol
1 Tablespoon cornstarch
2 cups warm water
empty spray bottle

Mix all ingredients together in the spray bottle. 
Shake it really good, and shake it before each use
You are good to go...

Homemade Dishwasher Detergent

2 cups Borax
2 cups Washing Soda
1 Cup Kosher salt
10 packages unsweetened lemonade (citric acid)
An air tight container to store it in

Add everything to the container
Give it a quick stir to break up the clumps
Shake it until its all mixed up.

To Use:

Use 1 Tablespoons per load

Homemade Fabric Softener

2 cups hair conditioner, pick a scent you like (I used Green Apple)
3 cups white vinegar
6 cups hot water
a container to mix it in

Mix the ingredients together (all 3) in a large container or even a pitcher.

Stir it, don’t shake it, until it is all mixed together to a smooth consistency.

Use a  funnel to pour it into an old fabric softener jug or other jug you may have on hand.

Its good to go, just add about 1/4 cup to the fabric softener dispenser in your washer.

Homemade Laundry Soap (liquid)

4  Cups – hot tap water
1  Fels-Naptha soap bar
1 Cup – Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda
½ Cup Borax
5 gallon bucket (you can find them at lowes or other home improvement stores)
a BUNCH of empty clean containers (I used a large laundry jug and a few juice jugs)

(I have found all of the ingredients at my local Walmart, I am sure other grocery stores have them, I will post pictures soon of the ingredients)

Grate the bar of soap and add to saucepan with the water. Stiring continually over medium-low heat until soap dissolves and is melted.

Fill a 5 gallon bucket half full of HOT tap water. Add melted soap, washing soda and Borax. Stir well until all powder is dissolved. Fill bucket to top with more hot water. Stir, cover and let sit overnight to thicken.

Stir and fill a used, clean, laundry soap dispenser half full with soap and then fill rest of way with water. Shake before each use. (will gel)

Yield: Liquid soap recipe makes 10 gallons.

Top Load Machine- 5/8 Cup per load (Approx. 180 loads)

Front Load Machines- ¼ Cup per load (Approx. 640 loads

Homemade Laundry Soap (powdered)

1 cup Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda (Not Baking Soda)
1 cup Borax
1 bar Fels-Naptha or1/2 bar of Zote Laundry Soap

1. Grate one bar of Fels-Naptha or 1/2 bar of Zote Laundry Soap using a cheese grater.
2. Next, add 1 cup of the Borax to the grated soap.

3. Add 1 cup of Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda. (Don’t confuse this with baking soda, I did find mine at Wal-mart in the cleaning isle).
4. Place ingredients into a food processor (or blender) and pulse/grind for about a minute, or until it has the consistency of fine powder.
Store it in an air-tight container.

To Use:

Use 1-2 Tablespoons per load, it is safe for front-loading HE washers.
